OMC Technologies are a specialist metal fabrication and surface treatment company with bases in Limerick, Dublin and London. Due to continued expansion and growth, we are currently recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our QS team. The successful candidate will be reporting to a senior QS and be based at our offices in Greenogue Business Park, Rathcoole, Co.Dublin.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Assisting with tenders and estimates for new projects.
• Assisting with collating information from site teams to enable cost analysis and preparation of payment applications.
• Assisting with all Quantity Surveying duties including re-measurement, preparation of monthly progress applications and settlement of final accounts.
• Assisting with the procurement of subcontractor and specialist suppliers.
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly contract cost reports and management accounts information.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
• A degree in Quantity Surveying or the equivalent
• A high proficiency with relevant computer / software packages
• Excellent communication skills
• A full Irish driving licence Salary / package negotiable and commensurate with experience.
